About me!

Hello! I am Varuna Kaur, a Mumbaikar with her heart and soul in the mountains! I’m a Certified Dog Behaviorist and Trainer by profession, so yes, my days usually go better than anyone else reading this post 🙂 I’m also a zero to low waster which means I try to be as sustainable in life as possible, trying to live as simple as possible by using less. Lesser the trash created, lesser stress on the landfills and in turn, lesser stress for the planet! 🙂

I actually started travelling in 2013 with one of my closest friends Dinaz – we went to Kasol, Himachal Pradesh and spent an amazing week there. But that wasn’t it, I was inspired and encouraged by my partner in crime, my soulmate – Kritika! She started by taking me to Mcleodganj first, then Dharamsala and then the journey just went on and on, well its going to last a lifetime with this one! My first ever trek was to Kuari Pass in 2017 with Trek The Himlayas. I took to the mountains like a Labrador Retriever takes to the lake!

My idea of a vacation may be slightly different from quite a few. I’d rather go for another trek into the mountains than chill anywhere else in the world! I have a LIST of treks that I want to cover this year and I can’t wait to get started already!

I started writing about my adventures just for myself so I could relive them whenever I wished to, but then I guess its just a better feeling to share it with everyone! 2020 is going to be my year full of adventures. I’ve been planning this for a long time now and everything is finally falling into place! I can’t wait to get started on my blog too! Hope you can enjoy my adventures through this blog and definitely take ONE trip into the mountains – but let me just warn you, you can’t do it just once! ❤
